Procured through the Kent Business Portal and funded by Folkestone and Hythe District Council, this was a project to refurbish the Pleydell Public Conveniences.

The project consisted of a complete rip out of all tiles, all doors, toilets, cisterns with new tiles, doors and cisterns going back in place. A new entrance was created for the ladies toilet to allow for a separate unisex disabled toilet which meant a wall was created between the existing facility and ladies toilet. The disabled facility in the mens toilet was removed with a regular cubicle taking its place. We also carried out a number of external works such as resurfacing of pathways, installation of new handrails, brickwork repairs and drainage surveys.

Due to these public conveniences being very busy and in constant use a refurbishment was long over due and therefore Folkestone and Hythe District Council are so pleased with the outcome of this project.

Please contact us today to discuss this kind of project with you.
